Lincoln let out a soft oof, bending over double as Audrey elbowed him lightly. Exaggerating a little, he staggered into the sideboard and pretended to fall heavily to the floor. Grinning up at Audrey from his prone position, he laughed at his own ridiculous and goofy, dorky nature.

“I have post it notes, remind me to get you to doodle something tonight.” Lincoln said, pretending to rub his ribs as if seriously wounded by Audrey’s tiny little elbow. “What about fiddly little pieces of music? Are you good with those?”
