Smiling down at her, his lips turned soft and sweet as he watched her expression shift and turn dreamy and distant. Rubbing her stomach, he tried to draw her back to reality by letting his fingers tickle beneath her tee and touch her bare stomach. “Well, it’s true Lee. You’re gorgeous.”

He swallowed, smiling down at her as her lips caught his jaw. Flushing, in the dark, he turned his head down to look at her before leaning down to brush his lips against the corner of her mouth. Chaste, friendly kissing. Nothing more. Even if he kind of…wanted to.

Halfway through the movie, Lincoln’s hand shifted beneath Lee’s shirt and lingered just beneath her breasts as he half-concentrated on the awful, sparkling mess of a sci-fi movie.
