D&D AT LINCOLN'S [OPEN]
"I'm coming," Lincoln called out, half swearing as he woke up at the sound of knocking-pounding- at the door. Wiping the drool from his mouth, he reached out to hit his alarm clock, and groaned when he saw the time. He'd slept through all his alarms which meant that was the guys, which meant he hadn't set anything up. He was the worst player in the world. He was the worst friend in the world.
Struggling to get his jeans on, he ran down the hall and opened the door.
"Hey, sorry slept through alarm. I know, I know. Guys, DM set up the board. Park, grab the snacks they are in the kitchen. Bowls where they usually are. Hey," Lincoln smiled at everyone, letting them all through even as the other guys wolf-whistled at his lack of shirt and bitched about having to set up. Smiling, he pulled his shirt on slowly before shutting the door. Tonight was going to be a good night. Once they got going. "I have beer."
Lincoln offered a beer to the nearest person, tugging his shirt down and covering up.
OOC: Open to anyone who is Lincoln's friend, likely to be involved in SC D&D team, Firefighters who might be invited to said D&D games night, and of course Roosevelt.

"Maybe, maybe not." Lincoln murmured honestly, yawning as he wrapped one arm beneath Lee's legs before making sure she was secure in his arms and standing. Glancing over at his bedroom and the spare room, Lincoln trudged over to the deep, L shaped couch. Lincoln sat before lying back on the couch and taking Lee with him. Until he was lying on his side, with Lee curled up in front of him. "If I fall asleep leave me here, if you fall asleep then I'll take you to bed. Deal?"

The rough stubble against her neck made Lee gasp and that turned into a laugh as Lincoln manhandled her across to the couch. She had no intention of resisting him, following his lead until she was cocooned by his body, wrapped up in him.
"Deal." She said when he'd finished moving. She shuffled around and pulled his arm around her waist. A thought struck her and she craned to look at him. "Can I borrow a shirt? I think I actually forgot something to sleep in."

He didn't want her to but that was because he was kind of comfortable like this. He missed sleeping with women like this, sex was great and everything but he kind of just missed snuggling and holding someone.

The thought of dragging him to his bed made her laugh. "You'd be asleep. You'd see nothing. I could bring in friends to move you just so you wouldn't know how I did it." She teased and reached up to scratch through his hair. He loved that and she knew it. Years of friendship and the slow growth of this odd intimacy they shared meant she knew what made him tick. And he knew her too.
"I'm comfy though. I'll grab the shirt later, thanks." Lee said, making a contented noise and closed her eyes. She wasn't going to sleep but she was enjoying this mutual physicality. Lee didn't date much. The last few times she'd tried it had ended badly. They could never understand the way she was with her computers, the way she devoted herself to a new game or to playing with her friends online or in person. She tried but she couldn't stop being who she was for the sake of someone else. Lincoln understood that and that's why she loved spending time with him.

It was pretty tidy. Lincoln was a pretty tidy kind of guy. All his furnishings were wood or leather, comfortable and worn. But Lee had never really been in to his room before. She hadn't seen the big bed or the Star Wars prints next to the Lord of the Rings ones. Or the piles of books stacked next to his bed. He didn't mind her seeing room, she just hadn't really before.
"Me too, comfy." Lincoln murmured, rubbing his jaw against Lee's neck. His hand slipping beneath her top just a little and pushing it up slightly as he settled against her. "You want me to stick a movie on? Or we can just stay like this?"
no subject
"You're a neat freak." Lee said, smiling fondly and shifting with him as he rearranged himself. "It's one of the things I love about you. Makes me seem less of a weirdo. When I want to order my action figures by serial number."
The groan that escaped her when he rubbed his stubble into her neck wasn't quite obscene, but it was close. Of course the hand under her top wasn't helping, but the little flare of arousal was a distant thing. It was Lincoln. It wasn't hard to be aroused around him. Clearing her throat, she nodded, rubbing her cheek against his temple. "Do we have to move to get the movie? Because I set up the entertainment server last time I was here. I gave you a tablet to control it all and everything...Don't tell me you broke it already?"
no subject
"You don't have to move, her let me get it." Lincoln murmured, pressing up onto one arm and letting Lee fall gently back onto the couch. Stretching over the top of her, Lincoln grabbed the tablet before pulling it to them. Looking at Lee laying beneath him, Lincoln smiled down at her before resettling himself beside her. "Shall we watch Galaxy Quest? I haven't watched that in ages."
Her top had pulled up a little from where his hand had been, hesitating a moment he placed his hand back where it had been and snuggled up beside Lee. "Or you can pick, I don't mind." Lincoln murmured against Lee's ear, his lips brushing against her bottom earlobe.

"I concede that ordering by series makes a little more se-..." She paused to bite of another groan as he nuzzled her again. "More sense." Lee finished on a sigh.
Her body was betraying her a little, more when she rolled to her back and he was hovering over her. She arched up under him a fraction before she caught the movement and relaxed back. He smiled down at her and she crooked one back at him while he settled next to her again.
"There's never an alternative when Galaxy Quest is on the table." She murmured, lifting the tablet she thumbed through the options absently until she found the movie and set it playing.
Lifting her legs, she hooked them over his thighs, levering them so he was curled closer around her. His voice against her ear was a purr of noise that made Lee feel warm all over. His hand was a warm weight on her belly and made the muscles jump as she covered it with her own.
"We watched this together like three months ago, you know." She said, stroking his arm idly. "Is that ages?"
no subject
Breathing out against her neck, he nodded at her question and let his jaw scratch against her neck. Smiling when she covered his hand, he sighed and tried not to yawn. Shivering a little when she lightly stroking his arm, his lips brushed her earlobe just a fraction.
"That's a lifetime for a film classic like this." Lincoln replied, watching as his tv began to play the movie. "Never give in, never surrender."

"Fair point." She said and like the total dork she was, Lee made the salute from the movie.
She didn't even need to watch it. She knew every line. It was their go to movie when they were both exhausted and not up for concentrating, just letting it wash over them, the familiarity comforting.
Of course, now that she wasn't paying attention to the film, Lees mind was wandering. Lincoln was nuzzling closer, practically kissing her ear, his thigh between hers making her wonder idly what it'd be like to sleep like this with someone like this every night. That train of thought made her frown a little as she tried to fix an image of a man she'd like to do this with every night and her brain kept coming back to Lincoln.
The thought trailed off as he scratched his chin against the curve of her throat and made her huff a sleepy laugh. "You need a shave."

Inhaling the soft, feminine scent of Lee's hair, Lincoln dozed a little and buried his head against Lee's throat. Waking when she sleepily laughed at scratch of his beard against her skin.
"Sorry. You don't like it?" Lincoln asked, knee pressing higher between Lee's legs as he turned into her body to look at her. He hadn't been clean shaven in years but he probably normally kept it shorter or tidier than it was at the moment. He probably should trim in the morning if it bothered her though.

As he leaned over to look at her, Lincolns knee shifted higher, a firm, warm pressure between her thighs that made her hips roll with the movement to accommodate him. She didn't feel trapped though, and she wasn't about to pull away at all, even if she thought maybe she should. Instead she stretched languidly into the couch, letting his weight anchor her.
Lee rolled her eyes at the look on his face. Even tired as he was, he still managed a pretty effective set of puppy dog eyes. She reached up and ran her fingers over his cheek lightly. "I like it a lot. I'm just concerned you're going to start a fire if you accidentally catch it on my shirt or something." She teased, smiling at him. "And that'd look bad, you being a fireman and everything."

Leaning into the hand at his cheek, he turned his head so that his mouth brushed a chaste kiss against her palm. Yawning, he smiled at her teases and laughed at the comment.
"I doubt my beard is going to start a shirt fire, if you're that worried though you could just take it off." Lincoln murmured, head dropping against the hollow of her neck sleepily. It only took a minute for him to realise how that sounded. "I didn't mean- not that- I'm shutting up. Ignore me, I'm tired."

Lee thought she'd imagined it, she really had, but they were pressed so tight together now that she couldn't miss the fact that something other than his legs was pressing against her butt. Lee panicked for a second. As much as she might not be experienced in the sex department, she had access to the internet and she wasn't an idiot. This was straight out of some YA novel or something on the CW. If she was in one of those books or shows, she'd know how to say something appropriate, maybe make light of it and excuse herself from the situation. Did she even want to do that? It wasn't that she didn't find him attractive. Blind, deaf and dumb people found Lincoln attractive. It wasn't even like the thought of having sex with him hadn't crossed her mind, but it'd been an idle 'what if', not really something she'd seriously given a lot of thought. Now suddenly she was giving it serious thought. Suddenly she could see the way they fit together, physically and personally. Vivid images of them doing something other than lounging on this couch started presenting themselves and she swallowed hard, trying to stay as still as she could so that she could clear her mind.
She opened her mouth to say something, anything that would break this train of thought, when she caught the shaky breath he pulled in followed by the yawn and the lazy sweet kiss against her palm and yet another yawn. Relief flooded her. Train of thought thoroughly derailed, so much so that she felt bad for thinking those things in the first place. He was tired...really bone weary and not really thinking straight. The t-shirt comment just proved it. He didn't really want to have sex with her. She was just a warm body and his body was reacting without conscious thought. She was tired too, for that matter. That was why she was thinking these sexy thought about her best friend. It was silly really.
Somewhere deep inside a little part of her wailed in despair but Lee ignored it and smiled at him instead. "Smooth, Lincoln. Did you get that line from Roosevelt?" She asked him quietly, half expecting to get nothing but a snore from him in return.

Eyes drifting shut, he pressed a light kiss against Lee's neck and tried not to fall asleep mid-movie. It was kind of hard when she was so warm, comfortable, and when she felt so good in his arms though. It was kind of hard to do anything but murmur quietly to her.
"We should probably go to bed but I don't want to move." Lincoln murmured, hand stroking her stomach gently as he struggled to stay awake. "We should do this more often."

"That's nothing new, Linc..." She said, trailing off when his knee between her thighs shifted again. She tried to say his name but it was turned into a laughing gasp as he pulled back again, burying his face in her neck. His voice had gone husky with sleep, vibrating low and against her skin. He was warm and all around her and she just wanted to give in, just fall onto her front and have him lay over her and sleep like that.
As much as she liked that idea, she had a class tomorrow morning for her degree and if she didn't get some kind of sleep she'd never take in anything. "We watch films together all the time." She said, yawning and blinking her eyes open trying to muster the energy to move.

Lincoln yawned, brushing his lips against her neck as he settled his head against her. Eyes growing heavier.

"Mmmm..." Lee mumbled, eyes falling closed again as his breathing started to even out and hers started to sync up with it. "S'nice. Really nice. But...bed. Should get to one." She opened her eyes again when he nuzzled against her. If she was honest, she'd love to just stay here. Common sense was a total bitch sometimes.
"Linc?" she asked quietly. If he was asleep she'd make the herculean effort and slide off the couch and head to his room to grab a shirt. She would not look at his bed because it would be closer than the guest room and she'd never make it. The plan was a good one. She turned her head to look at him and tried again. "Linc?"

It took Lee another thirty minutes to gather the strength to slip out of Lincolns grip. He was warm and his weight against her was comforting in a way she hadn't realised she'd wanted so it was an actual effort to gently lift his hand off her stomach and roll away. It wasn't elegant but she managed to slide to the floor and then sat up, watching to see if she'd woken him. He snuffled a little, brow creasing for a second before it smoothed out.
Standing, Lee couldn't resist reaching out to smooth a hand through his hair, brushing it out of his eyes before she grabbed the soft, familiar blanket and spread it over his sleeping form.
Lee walked on shuffling feet to Lincolns room, yawning as she hunted for a t-shirt to change into. She gave herself a pat on the back for making it to the guest room and just barely had time to change before she collapsed into the bed, dead asleep before her head hit the pillow.
