Another weekend working come and gone without him even realising, he'd have to send Lee and the others a text to apologise for missing Friday. They knew he couldn't make it but still he hated that they carried Nain's sorry Dwarven ass around the realms. They didn't mind but he did, he loved his job but there were times he wished something would change. Anything really.
Carrying his go bag to the beat up car, Lincoln dumped his stuff in the trunk before rubbing the back of his neck. Waving to the others on shift, his lips tugged together in a shy smile as the others cat called out Bye to good old Honest Abe. Pushing his hands in his pocket, he tucked a book beneath his arm as he headed down the street towards the Quill where he could get a cup of coffee and a decent danish before retiring for the day-night. It was kind of hard figuring out what time was what when he was working shifts.
"Scuse me," Lincoln murmured polite, his voice like warm honey as he held open the door for a couple of women before ducking in to the Quill.
He took up most of the space at the counter, towering over the others in the queue as he greeted the barista fondly before ordering a strong and sweet coffee. That'd do for now. And then maybe later after he'd slept then he could call the guys, find out what happened to Nain on their adventures. Hopefully he hadn't lost any more limbs.
Hopefully.
OOC:Welcome to my new character Lincoln. :) He's a sweetie. Come say hi.
